U.S. Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder, Jr. will address the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches on Jan. 8. He will talk about the role of the Attorney General in the Obama Administration.

This will be a sell-out event. No advance tickets will be sold prior to receipt by members of their electronic or standard newsletters. There will be no public tickets for the Holder luncheon. Restrictions will be placed on the number of guest tickets members may order.

The luncheon will be held at the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach.

Florida Governor Charlie Crist, who captured national attention with his recent veto of a controversial proposal to make it easier to fire teachers, closes the Forum Club season June 4 with an analysis of the 2010 state legislative session.

With the governor grabbing front page headlines in his battle with fellow Republicans over legislative issues and his battle for the U.S. Senate, this is expected to be a sellout event.

Independent candidate Charlie Crist and Democratic candidate Kendrick Meek will lay out their platforms on Sept. 15. Republican Marco Rubio has declined the club’s invitation because of a scheduling conflict.
